Private, wedding and medal lessons
One-on-one lessons give you your teacher's full attention, so you progress quickly at your own pace. We teach private lessons for wedding couples, medal and competition dancers, and anyone who wants focused, personal coaching. Lessons run at our Maddington studio at a time that suits you.
Your first dance, choreographed to your music
Let us teach you a custom wedding dance for your special day. Whatever your level of experience, including none at all, we will work with you and your partner to create a dance that suits your personalities and is choreographed to music you have chosen together.
Wedding lessons are taught privately by our most senior teachers, including Jenny Clare and Sharon Hitchcock. We also teach the traditional wedding dances: bridesmaids and groomsmen, father and bride, and mother and son. At Jus' Dance we welcome love in every colour of the rainbow, including couples of any age or background and same-sex couples. This is your day, and we want it to be as memorable for you as it is for your guests.
The studio has a spacious hardwood dance floor, surround sound, air-conditioning and mirrors.
Work towards medal grades through DMIA
Medal classes are private lessons for dancers who want to polish their dancing and compete for medal grades through Dance Masters International. Working with an experienced teacher, you will improve posture, movement, shape and softness, or sharpness in tango. We choreograph, rehearse and master custom routines in solo or shared private lessons.
When you are ready for assessment, you have the full support of your teacher and the Jus' Dance team. Examiners are often invited to assess students during our Cabaret nights at the studio, a familiar setting with a supportive audience cheering you on.
Medal coaching is led by Studio Principal Jenny Clare (President of DMIA) and Senior Teacher Sharon Hitchcock.
Four demonstration teams for your event
Looking for something special for your event or function? Our demonstration teams perform live in full costume. Jus' Dance has four teams available to hire, each with its own style: West Coast Swing, Lindy Hop, Rock n' Roll and Salsa. Dances are choreographed by Studio Principal Jenny Clare and can be adapted to suit your music, audience and available space.
